just driving around looking for wildlife..like deer, bears..ect

it was just before the big ice storm of dec 2000. the weather was fair but cool. it was fairly clear out it was about 1hr or less before dark. We were riding around the mountain and found this old logging road that cut down the mountain off 88 west just into the oklahoma side of the state line. We started down the mountain . the road didnt look like it have had traffic on it in some time. as their was no tire tracks. ect in the clear areas of the road. we were driving slow just enjoying the scenery as we came around a curve their was several deer that were crossing the road in front of me running from right to left ..down the mountain...when the deer turned abruptly and started running back in front of me crossing from left to right as i was stoped in the road watching them.. i wondered what spooked them and made them turn around and run the other way.. as i looked down the hill to the left i seen this large harry creature standing beside a tree kinda leaning on the tree. it was aproximate 50 to 60 feet to my left. and it was staring at me. the hair on the back of my neck stood up and i had this strange feeling. i looked at it at what seemed like minutes but was actualy just a few seconds when it turned and started down the mountain at a angle.. kinda from left to right. it was out of site very quickly. i asked the other if he seen what i did and he said yes...and as he said...that aint no bear.... it was tall and lanky looking with dark hair covering its body. it was hard to get any facial details as the sun was just behind it and above to the right just a little. but i could definately make out it wasnt a bear or any other creature. plus it walked away on two feet. I had only seen a creature like this one other time back in 1969 and it was alot bigger. I decided to go back the next day and leave out some food ..apples, oranges. a grapefruit and a sweet potato.. all were cut in half and put in a onion sack and tied up on a rope that i had thrown over a limb .. i put it up at about 10 to 12 ft off the ground... the next day the sack and food was gone and the rope was still there... i tried to find footprints but had no luck so i went back with some more fruit and a couple bags of fresh potting soil and put the soil under in h opes to get a foot print but it never came back then the ice storm hit...

it was about 6ft plus tall and covered with a dark hair..it was hard to tell for sure because of the position of the sun but the hair looked black but where the sun kinds shown through it looked brown...i couldnt really see the face bacause of the position of the sun..but could tell it had a lanky looking body... not big and muscular or really barrel like but more like a tall thin man with wide sholders and hips...

Witness stated regarding tracks: "no the ground was too rocky...was too scared to look right then so came back the next day to look and put out food."

Witness stated regarding sounds: "just the deer crossing the road..then making a noise and running back across... leaves twigs..ect making noise as t he deer ran through it..."

yes, two other reports made to Bigfoot encounters about sightings in the same area the same day.

a few days after the siteing we had a big ice storm.. as the ice melted a older couple came up to the mountain..queen wilahelmina lodge with their daughter and son in law and left to walk a trail... the older lady aparently didnt want to walk that far and turned around to come back acording to husband and others but she never came back. as me and several others were up there at the time... they called in search teams and nothing was ever found of the lady..she just disapeared .. the dogs they brought in trailed the lady a few feet off the trail then refused to trail any more...i believe the sasquatch i see a few days earler took her....

The witness grew up in a farming community, and spent a great deal of time hunting, fishing, trapping, and camping. He has hunted deer, and both Black and Grizzly bear. He currently works part-time at a wildlife rehabilitation center. He is positive that what he saw was not a man or a bear. The road they were traveling that day was very remote, and by all the debris noted on the road they could tell it had not been traveled on in quite some time. They encountered no other people nor saw any other vehicles in the area.

After this witness submitted his report to Bigfoot Encounters, a truck driver read the report and submitted his report there also, stating that he had seen a similar creature just north of the area that same morning. Also, an elderly couple came forward and reported they had a similar encounter that same evening just south of that area.

He has recounted his encounter several times with me, and remembers everything vividly. I find him to be very credible, and the other two reports seem to verify his sighting. He seems frustrated that the sun was behind the creature, therefore preventing a good visual of the face.
