Incident Description:
When the witness was 14 years old, he walked back to the creek behind his house to fish as he often did. He left around 10 am, and was having success in catching mostly Channel Catfish, and a few other species. He had filled one stringer, and it was on the other side of the creek where he was fishing at the time of his sighting. The creek was narrow there, and he could step across it. He had walked a short ways away to where the creek flowed into a larger, deeper area, and he was fishing there. He thought he had smelled a skunk, and heard some noise in the brush. He thought his dog had followed him down there, and might have gotten into some skunk scent.
Around 5 pm it was getting late, and he was thinking of heading back. He had gotten his pole and tackle box together, when he heard his fishing stringer jingling. He looked and saw this enormous, hairy creature pull his stringer out of the water, stand up, and in no more than 2 or 3 steps walked up the 15 foot embankment to the top and start to walk away. He grabbed his pole and tackle box, and ran as fast as he could through the field back to his house. When he arrived at home, he told his parents he had seen a "large gorilla" steal his fish.
He had not heard of sasquatch at this age.

Subject Description:
Large, bulky & hairy dark brown creature.
Description of Tracks:
The witness noticed it was making tracks on the embankment, and planned on returning the next day with his father. But it rained heavily that evening, and the creek rose high and they assumed the tracks were washed out.
Odors Noted:
Witness noticed a skunk-like odor prior to sighting, but he thought it was one of his dogs that often got sprayed or smelled like skunk.
Other Evidence:
Footprints were seen on the bank where it stepped up, and he was going to return the next day with his dad to show him. They got a heavy rain that evening, and the creek rose up high and washed out the prints.
