We want to thank you for your interest in the Sasquatch Research Initiative. We are a motivated association of independent sasquatch researchers and enthusiasts who hope to learn more about this mysterious creature through working together. First and foremost, we believe sasquatch is a flesh and blood creature, but outside of this our individual opinions vary widely.

Before submitting any of your work to us, first email us with your idea. If we like it, we will request that you complete the work and send it to us. This does not guarantee your work will be published. If you would like to submit your work for publication on our website, first read the guidelines below.

Writers

Remember that this is a sasquatch website. We are not interested in any work not directly relating to sasquatch. Take time to familiarize yourself with our website and the content that has already been published before going any further. Be sure you use a spell check program and have someone else edit your work before sending it to us. This will greatly increase your chances of publication. All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format. We do not offer money for manuscripts.

News—We are always looking for the latest news in the world of sasquatch research. There is no need to query us in advance for news stories. Feel free to submit these at any time for consideration. Whether a press release, recent photos, or videos, we are always looking for the latest scoop. News pieces may range between 100-500 words.

Editorials—We are interested in what you have to say. SRI wants to offer our visitors the opportunity to voice their opinion on any sasquatch related. Please limit editorial pieces to less than 1500 words.

Research Papers—We at SRI are especially interested in research papers. We absolutely insist that all research papers credit sources from which information is derived. If this is lacking in your paper, it will not be considered. Provide complete footnotes and a bibliography of works cited in your paper. We prefer that research papers follow standards such as APA or MLA.

Please query us with your ideas for research papers. We have no set limit on word count for research papers.

Investigations—If you have information about how to better conduct an investigation or would like to share the results of your investigation, please feel free to query us with your ideas. These pieces should range between 1000-1500 words.

Interviews—We are very interested in publishing interviews with active researchers in the field, as well as academics who can offer professional opinions on research and findings. Please limit interviews to between 500-1500 words

Humor—We all need to laugh more. If you can help with this, send us your humor pieces. We are looking for 250-1000 word articles. No need to query. We request that you send the completed manuscript.

Fiction—If you have an idea or have created a piece of Sasquatch fiction, please query us first. We are interested fiction and plan to make it a regular part of our site. Fiction pieces may vary between 1000-2500 words.

Letters to the Editor—We at SRI are interested in your feedback. Please feel free to contact us with your comments at any time. We reserve the right to publish these comments. If you wish to remain anonymous, please specify this within your email. We do not offer money for Letters to the Editor.

Photographers

Your article is considered more favorably when you have supporting photography to go along with it. We prefer pictures be presented in JPEG format and not exceed 1MB. Screen resolution of 640 pixels by 480 pixels or better is preferred. Send as many photographs as possible that correspond with your work.

We are also interested in photography that may be used in a variety of contexts throughout the SRI website. Your photographs may be of landscapes, wildlife, or relevant studio photographs. Please query us about our needs and photographs you may have to offer. We do not offer money for photographs.

Illustrators

If you are an artist and would like to help SRI with illustrations, please forward us your contact information and we will inform you of our needs. We do not offer money for illustrations.

Copyrights and Usage

By submitting your work to SRI, you agree to allow SRI to use the work on the SRI website, in printed form, or other media without restriction. You retain copyright to your work and will be credited if it is published. Submit only work that you have produced yourself. Submission of a work does not guarantee that it will be used.
